The FNSW Learning & Development Project is funded by the Department of Family and Community Services . Its aim is to enhance the capacity of workers, services and networks to support families in children’s early years (0‐8).

Training is provided to enhance FNSW workers skills to:
- help parents to build their skills and confidence in parenting
- support parents and carers so they can respond to problems early
- build communities that support children and families
- improve the way agencies work together to make sure families get the services they need.
