Using Therapeutic Interventions in Playgroup

Discover the use of therapeutic interventions in a playgroup setting. In this hands-on workshop you will explore how to identify interrupted development in children, using creativity and therapeutic tools including art, play, music and speech.
Who should attend this workshop?
Playgroup Facilitators, Family Support Workers, Schools as Communities, Community Hub Workers and anyone running a (supported) Playgroup.
Sue is a child and family therapist who specialises in working in a creative and experiential way to support developmental, intellectual, emotional and behavioural challenges in children and their families.
She has a Master’s Degree in Counselling, with a particular interest in neurobiology and play therapy.
Sue is passionate about giving children a voice in therapy and using this to inform her work with the whole family. She is a clinical Supervisor, Counsultant and Trainer for both community based and independent organisations. She has worked in NGO, Community and Private sectors with a diverse range of clients.
